See Valspar Colors on Your House
The Valspar Virtual Painter is gone — this is what replaced it. Upload a photo of your own house and name any Valspar color by name or code. The visualizer carries the full Lowe's deck plus every other major brand, repaints the surfaces you ask for, and leaves your roof, brick, and landscaping exactly as they are.

Popular Valspar Exterior Colors
These are the Valspar colors homeowners preview most, with their exact codes — every swatch below is the official Valspar color, not an approximation. Click any of them to try it on your own photo; chips and screens both drift, and the only preview that settles an exterior argument is one on your actual house in your actual light.
Whites & Creams
Ultra White is the brightest white in the Valspar deck — crisp, cool, and the default trim color for thousands of Lowe’s repaints. Du Jour and Swiss Coffee run warmer, which is what most sidings actually want; Bistro White splits the difference. On two hundred square feet of sunlit siding, all four read lighter than the chip — that jump is exactly what a photo preview catches.
Grays & Neutrals
Filtered Shade and Notre Dame are the safe mid-light neutrals — gray enough to look current, warm enough not to go cold next to concrete and stone. Rocky Bluffs is the step darker that keeps a big facade from washing out. Blindfold is the deep charcoal for the dark-house look; test it on your own photo before committing, because charcoal in full sun reads a full shade lighter than the chip.
Colors
Everglade Deck is the standout — a deep blue-green that has become a favorite front-door and full-body color, dramatic against white trim. Mountain River is the slate navy for a classic dark body; Green Trellis and Secluded Garden carry the muted sage-and-teal range that lets a house settle into its landscaping instead of shouting over it.
Valspar Lives at Lowe's
Valspar is the house paint brand of Lowe's — that is where the chips hang and where the cans get mixed. For years the brand also had its own preview tool, the Virtual Painter, and enough people used it that they still search for it today. It has been retired. If that is the search that brought you here, this page is the modern answer: the same idea — your photo, Valspar's colors — done with today's rendering instead of a bucket fill.
Take any code on this page to the Lowe's paint desk and they will mix exactly that color. The desk is also worth knowing about for one more reason: color matching works in both directions. They can mix a Sherwin-Williams or Benjamin Moore color into a Valspar base, and any other paint desk can match a Valspar number you bring in. So preview freely — if the winner is a Valspar color and the closer store is not a Lowe's, the code still travels with you.
Why Preview Valspar Colors Here
Brand tools show one brand, and most exterior shortlists refuse to stay that loyal — the real contest is usually a Valspar white against a Sherwin-Williams white, with a dark from Benjamin Moore or Behr in the running. This visualizer holds every major deck in one place, so the comparison happens on one photo of your house, like for like, instead of across four different tools with four different stock houses.
The other difference is how you drive it. Instead of tapping through menus, you talk to it: "body in Mountain River, trim in Ultra White, front door in Everglade Deck" is one sentence, and the render puts all three decisions on the house at once. Body, trim, and door interact — a trim white that flatters one body color can look dingy against another — and judging them together on your own facade is the whole point of previewing on a photo instead of holding chips against the wall. All of it is free while in beta, and it runs in the browser on any phone or computer — there is no app to download.
